Gayle, you'll thoroughly enjoy your chooks, they look well settled and its eggciting when they deliver the first egg(s)!!! ;D

I can vouch for all of the above!  My 6 layers (2 Australorps and 4 rescue chickens from a preschool hatching project- but don't get me started on that practice - not just yet, anyway!)are on a roll (would  that be an "egg" roll???) at the moment.. Getting 5-6 eggs a day. Keeps me, DD and a neighbour well supplied!

Lovely chooks and chook house. I'd love to keep a couple of chooks.

This morning we went out with friends for a long morning tea. It was a lovely spot we hadn't been to before. Right on the Canning River, under big trees and a lovely breeze. As we were leaving they told us they were closing down as they couldn't renew the lease.  :'( such a lovely spot too.

The new car was delivered today and I had another drive of it.  A bit nervous but I managed to keep my left foot firmly on the side.  Can see that it will take a bit of getting used to.  Maybe I should put up some L plates  :D :D

It won't take you long Margaret then you'll wonder why you waited so long to buy an automatic  ;)

It's the worst when you are going around corners though. I have trouble if I've been driving DH's manual car and then I get into my automatic.
Mind you, I had trouble with windscreen wipers and indicators as DH's previous car was wired differently to mine and every time I drove his car and went around a corner, I turned the windscreen wipers on instead of the indicator >:(

You'll get used to it in no time. Just enjoy your new car
