DJ wouldn't it be great if it came out the other end all bagged up??  :D

Last night I made up a quantity of Tenina's lemon curd, cos a neighbor gave me a whole bag of lemons. I was struggling to get 200g of lemon juice as every lemon was dry. Lucky I had a couple of store bought ones. Out of about 30 lemons only a couple were juicy enough. Must be where the term comes from of being "a real lemon".  I must pop over and do a review because it's lovely.

A while back I asked about the Dream Pot, because I was thinking of getting one for my mum for her birthday.  Thanks to mcmich, Emme, Cookie and obbie's feedback, I ended up getting her one.  She absolutely loves it and has been cooking main meals and cakes in it.   She thinks she will use it heaps when they are off caravanning over winter, and also on those days when they are out at bowls all day, and she can some home to a cooked dinner.

Now I might need to get one for myself!  Or should I get an airfryer instead  ;) ;D

Neither. Buy yourself some new clothes.

I agree with Gretch, after your hard work, don't think about food appliances and buy yourself some clothes.

If you have to make a choice go with the new clothes. If not a choice then maybe go for all three!! I know I wouldn't use the dream pot so not something that's on my list of wants.

Karen I am so pleased your Mum loves the Dream Pot. I have yet to try a cake in it.I will use mine more in the van than here at home.

Hi all, just a quick drop in to say hello. I can't possibly catch up with all the posts I haven't read over the last few weeks so I'm not even going to try lol. Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying their Thermomix's.
I have completely resigned from my old job and started my new job and absolutely loving every bit of it. I feel so much more appreciated and looked after. I have been pretty busy working here there and everywhere but I'm paid well for my travel and time. Glad I brought my new car which is really cheap to run :).
I have also picked up a couple of shifts in a respite house where I will be there for 24 hours straight. I'm looking forward to those shifts as they pay well. It's basically taking care of 1 or 2 clients in a home for 24 hours with a sleep over. Personal care, cooking (should take Thermie) and social support.
Kids started back at school today and all had a great first day. Everything is running smoothly.

Anyway take care everyone. I will drop in from time to time to say hello. :)
