Stay safe maddy - I had heard that our horrible conditions from yesterday were headed over your way.  At least a small cool change is on its way.  Thanks to your DH - firefighters do an amazing job  :-* :-*

Cool change is here but bad winds which makes it worse for the firefighters. Glad you are safe Karen. Hope you and DH stay safe Maddy. Can't believe the water CC. Stay dry.

Today we watched the Winter Olympics and the boys played with homemade snow (thanks Judy). They loved it, especially DS6 who was still happily playing 2hours later.

3 cups bi carb soda and 1/2 cup hair conditioner. The children will love it Robyn, but be warned, it's messy!

Just back from DS's property.  Our caravan is stored out there and he rang to say that they had fires very close to them and it might be a good idea if we came out just in case we needed to bring the van back home. They were all packed and ready to go if necessary.  Thank goodness the fires are now contained and with the wind change it looks like all will be well.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That is good news, very windy here at the moment and the power has been off most of the afternoon, just came back on so have not done much at all.  Good thing I wasn't cooking ;D

It sounded like a busy day for everyone today, the snow feels really nice doesn't it Kimmy - glad the boys enjoyed themselves.

Hope everyone's property is safe from today's fires.
