Sydney traffic anytime these days, Mich . . . . perpetual peakhour . . . :-)) >:(  Glad Don got away  safely - a sad trip for him - and that you're back safe and sound . . .

This morning I popped over to a nearby warehouse where a couple of young men make the most delicious and cheap bagels. They start baking at 12 midnight and close up at 9.30am. You can order online and pick up by 9.30 am. They make sweet and savoury.

DD and I went shopping, bought banana tea at T2 and then had visitors this afternoon.

I love bagels!  Onion or garlic toasted bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon were a favourite "Sunday brunchy" many, many years ago when I was living in the US.

Just recently, a friend picked me up a couple from a northern beaches market - they were fabulous, but at $4 and change  . . each! :o  . .I think I just may go back to making my own . . .  :D 8)
