He sounds worth hanging onto Robyn. Could you perhaps get a housekeeper?

This morning DD and I were spoiled we had a makeover. She looks lovely and I have shown improvement. We had our makeup done and our nails. DD also had her hair done. Mine is to short to do much with. I love my red nails. It is years since I painted my finger nails. The trouble is it will soon chip when I do some housework.

I love pamper sessions Cookie, your nails look gorgeous - that's the colour I usually have when my nails are in good condition.  Normally I have housewife hands though.

Me too Judy. I have some bits to hand wash and other jobs to do, but they can wait until tomorrow. I want to admire my nails for a while. The woman that did DD's nails said this was too bright and did hers an orange colour. The lass that did mine didn't say anything except they looked lovely when she had finished.
My skin cancer scar could hardly be seen so it was ready to be made over too. I ended up buying some mauve eye shadows and an orange shade of blush. I have always worn a pink shade so this is a little different.

Cookie your nails look beautiful; hope it was for a special occasion. Mine are so chipped and broken from housework. It is so nice to be spoilt now and again.

No troupie. DD had just arranged for us to have a make over this morning. We are all glamorised and no where to go. I don't mind though. I'm sitting here typing admiring my nails. She is going out tomorrow so will be able to utilise any new skills she learned.

I had a visit from Trudy and her DH this morning - she came to collect her QJ book won in the last competition whilst she was overseas.  Lovely to catch up with them, both looking fit and healthy after their lovely holiday.

Nice to be spoilt Cookie.
DD and I went to the city to find me an outfit for a nieces wedding in a couple of weeks.  Afraid we came home empty handed and me exhausted. I'm afraid I haven't got an easy body to dress!  Better get out there again tomorrow.
Sound of music sounded good Judy.
Few nips for you Gert, hope you are feeling cosy now.
Obbie, lucky you with DH cleaning the house. I came home to pumpkin soup so no complaints here either.

Took it easy today.. I suffer from chronic pain from trapped sciatic nerve (amongst a plethora of other nagging complaints).. Hubby wanted some bread made, so told him it was a DIY day, and he did! it turned out lovely .. he was so proud and gave most of it away lol i think i have 2 rolls left,  but it kept him busy and away from the TV remote for a while .. so now i have made him sherif of  bread making duties.. gives me some space... and time to put my feet up. :)
Cook with love.. share the heart

:D :D  You now have a bread maker on tap Juliette, well done to your DH. Bet he was very proud of himself, bread making is so satisfying.  Maybe he will now want to try other things.  Sorry to hear you have health problems.

It's 7.35am and I am sitting in the Qantas lounge at Perth airport. Lots of fifo people here.

Enjoy your time away cookie.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
