We were all very proud of ourselves when we found your place Chookie, there was great applause within the car.  It was nice to meet your son and his family too. I knew you wouldn't mind us turning up unannounced after our trip to Hanging Rock.  I can't believed I climbed to the top without having a heart attack LOL.  We've had a great day.

How wonderfully exciting. An unplanned catch up. Judy, congratulations on climbing Hanging Rock. Is it spooky there? I have never been.

Rest day today so no training. Slept in, then made a batch of Chookies hot cross buns. then DW and I spent the rest of the day making giant games for DD's wedding in November.

Went for a picnic lunch with friends in Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens.   Beautiful weather and all of the autumn leaves on the trees in the gardens were gorgeous.   Drank just a wee bit too much wine, so now feeling sleepy and ever so slightly seedy  8)

It's sure looking nice up your way Karen.  We were up at Mount Barker to a nursery this morning and thought we should have brought your curry tree with us!   Sorry, must get it to you soon  xxxx

Bike ride with boys, followed by a spa. Lazy day as nighttime is a busy one this weekend. Tooth fairy came last night for DS6's first loose tooth and easter bunny is expected tonight.

What sort of giant games are you making den?

Today we went to McLaren a Vale to have lunch with Richard's Mum & Dad.  We went today as we couldn't make the family Easter lunch tomorrow due to DH going to the Crows game.

As MIL has her right hand in plaster after an operation and her left hand shakes quite a lot due to Parkinson's, I provided all the food. We had quiche, Kezza's AWW meatloaf but as meatballs, airfried baby potatoes and salad.  For dessert we had custard tea cake with cream and strawberries. Everything was gluten free to suit MIL.  Everyone loved the food and they appreciated my doing the cooking.
