It sounds very pretty CC.
Katj that was very nice of you to wash all the 'farm' clothes.

Sorry to hear that INAID.  My SIL had that, along with pneumonia and she was really ill for a couple of months. She is still having blood tests and chest x-rays but is doing really well now. It must be hard when you have a young family though.  There is no quick remedy so do what your doctor says and accept any help offered.

Poor you. I met up with a lovely man on Sunday who has had the flu for some time. They keep putting off his chemo because of it and he is getting quite stressed as he wants the chemo to be fully effective and not delayed.

It has been snowing and hailing as well as sunshine. True Spring weather.

How many freezers do you have Chookie?

I haven't had the upright freezer in the garage on since the storms here in April. We got our winter electricity bill last week and there is no difference - little disappointed really - maybe we used extra in heating?

I've achieved what I set out to do today, ie bring my back garden up to scratch.  I've had a couple of previous sessions out there and today after the final 2 hours of weeding, the green  bin is bursting at the seams, there are no more weeds but I do have a couple of small trees that I'm going to remove at a later date after I get around to tidying up the front garden.  One is dead and the other, a bottle brush is the only thing now which makes too big a mess on the artificial lawn.  It's quite a big lawn to blow, it took me 1.5 hrs to blow the lawn, under the pergola, the garage and driveway.  One very happy but pooped little old lady.

4 freezers now, did have 6 so doing well. Now 2 uprights, 1 on fridge and a large bench one. I am trying to empty the large bench one before we move. The kids call this one Jurassic park.
The interesting thing is that since I have stopped buying meat, I am only spending $30 a week at the grocers. I am also trying to use up lots of tins and am down to about 12 jars of jam.
Judy, that is a terrific effort.  You will sleep well tonight.

I had a giggle at the reference to your freezer being called "Jurrasic Park" Chookie ;D Great going on the freezer clear out.

You must be so pleased you have licked your garden into shape Judy.No wonder you are tried after all that work!!

That freezer of Chookies is the biggest I've ever seen in a home.  Good luck with emptying it Chookie, it would take me a lifetime.  Good idea to run everything down in prepararion for your move.

Yes I'm very pleased wirh myself tonight Denise, I was considering hiring a gardener but there's much  more satisfaction in doing it yourself.  I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight Chookie.

Hope you are on the mend soon INAID.

Great effort Judy - it is very satisfying working in the garden. It will be lovely to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather admiring the garden.

Wow Chookie, doing well. It will be lovely to have fresh start in the kitchen in your new home.
