A busy day yesterday.I went shopping in London and then pick up GS from preschool at the end of his school day.Didn't buy a lot just a couple of shirts for DH and a gift for a friends new GS.

CC, I envy you a day in London shopping. I am still using lots of things I bought when I went shopping with you. Very happy memories.
It is great fun picking up the GC from pre school. You get to see the antics of all those littlies.
I cleaned out 2 fridges and chucked lots.  Feels good. Now to work on the freezers.

Cookie I was sorry to read about your foot, rest up and take it easy.
I know you will hate not being in the kitchen.

Chookie good luck for the weekend at Cherokee, hopefully there will be a buyer soon.

Thanks Jamberie and Katie. Robyn you are busy.
This morning DD took me shopping in the wheel chair. ( we still have the one Mum used)I loved it as there was no way I could walk around today. Some friends met us for coffee.

Hope your home open went well Chookie.
Cookie, I am glad you are being sensible and using the wheel chair and not trying to hobble around. Glad you have DD to help you.

Yes Mum! I hobble at home Katj but knew I couldn't do it anywhere else. I hope to be able to put a shoe on it in the next week or so. Our cars aren't automatic so I won't be driving for a bit. That's going to be hard.

Very sensible cookie, wheelchairs are the best and quickest way to get around.  I bet it was nice to get out of the house too.

Moon boots are no fun.
Consider having a look at an air cast.

I had the long aircast elite for about 15 weeks for a broken leg. Once I got used to it I found it quite comfortable.
I think you can get the shorter one for broken foot bones.
They have a rep in Perth and can courier them to you fairly quickly.
Good luck!

Thanks so much for that Consumerate. I really appreciate it. The moon boot is not for me. It's too heavy and causes more pain that it helps.

I've been out and about doing ANZAC Day stuff with my children today. I've been working for the last two weeks, and spending time trying to get my head around everything that involves, so I haven't been on here for ages.

Nice to here from you Sarah.

Yesterday went to Dawn Service it was a very moving. DH, a tad disappointed that the NZ national anthem wasn't sung.
Then home to work on turning the storeroom into my craft room. It's still a bit make shift as when we eventually get sewerage  it will be a powder room. Installed some storage and put up a floor to ceiling curtain to hide the storage. Before and after pic. I still need to get a chair and put a couple of frames on the wall. Sorry the photos aren't better.
