What have you been doing today?

I have a large double pattern pave driveway so over the last 3 mornings I've cleaned it with a high pressure hose.  What a messy job that was but boy, it needed a good clean.  A comparison on day 1.

I had a fairly quiet day today.  It was a public holiday here today. I made Amanda's cake from her blog. DD said it was very tasty.

The chooks and veggie garden need some attention today. Lots of Kale needs picking.

This morning I tidied up the garage, vacuumed it as well as one section of the back lawn and under the pergola. Made a trip to the recycle centre as well so the garage is the neatest it's looked for some time.

Hoping to go to Miele today to look at induction cook tops and dishwashers.  Unfortunately, probably can't afford an oven or microwave as well so I will have to be strong and turn my back on those two sections and concentrate on what we can afford.

Judy I wish my garage looked as neat as yours.  DS has moved back home and all his things are in our garage.

We have been digging out some NZ flax plants, a terrible job, so yesterday we went to a garden nursery and bought some native plants to put in the spaces.  These will be much nicer and help to attract the birds.

You have been busy Judy. All I've done is scrub my hotplates, they are always clean but the surrounds on the gas had got yucky so I did those. DH had the old car out the front and one of the neighbours came down so the morning was gone.
It's been pouring here this morning.

Went out for lunch with Bruce and Mandy. Mandy showed me how to print from my iPad. Wonderful.
Bought new ink for printer.
Making second of loaf of bread today.

That sounds like a useful thing to learn Chookie. Do you need a printer that does wifi?
