K Atie, sounds like you have had a great holiday, except for the Bee bites.  The kids just love the beach. I hope the harvest is going well.

K Atie great to hear all going well. I gave DH a Google Home for Xmas.  Had to get GD to help us work it.  Great fun.
Made 10 jars of Plum jam yesterday.  No cooking for next 3 days as temperatures near 40 degrees for these days.

Im pleased harvest was better than expected K Atie. That is always wonderful news. The harvests where I grew up have been brilliant this year and everyone is thrilled as prices are good too.

I've been looking at the Google home. Not too sure- I would probably have trouble setting it up and Dh would get cross with it.
Chookie those temperatures are awful, stay cool.

K Atie, a tree full of Cherry Plums  and one of Green Gage. The red cherry ones are a good base for Jams, sauce, leather and paste.  Easy to pick and plenty for the birds as well.

I had a 24 hour blood pressure monitor fitted this morning. It's been going ok but the last time the connection came off.  I just pushed it back on but it hasn't checked my BP again.  I hope I don't have to ring them.😁😁😁😁

We will be watching the news intently. A very big vote on Brexit in Parliament today. Goodness knows what will happen. There are so many scenarios that could happen.

CC, we feel for you.   Feel helpless in situations like this.
We won’t be doing much today as it is very hot again.  Tennis on the TV and reading.

Well the vote is all over now Denise. It will be interesting to see what happens now.

I had my BP off this morning. DH managed to do a temporary repair on it. I was too scared to move all last night in case it became unplugged. 😄😄😄😄

The vote ended as predicted, a massive defeat for the PM. Interesting times ahead.

CC, a very complex situation.  Not a surprising result but what is the solution?
Visiting the dentist.  DD has joined a new practice.  A business management company bought into her old practice and was only interested in the bottom line.

Who knows what the solution is Chookie.
The government survived a No Confidence Vote tonight.  But the opposition will keep pushing for a General Election but their party is split over the answer to Brexit.
