Chookie your day sounds great , I really need to get back into reading .
Well I’ve been staying with DM since Monday taking care of her . Yesterday was the worst DM was completely exhausted, it was so hard to get her to have much at all and slept the whole day , she could hardly talk . Lucky Dr phone call appointment that morning, which put me at ease . Improvement today . So hard to see DM deteriorating each week , I feeling a little overwhelmed and just would like to be home for awhile but somehow I’m going to have to stay strong and hope that we can get some carers next week . We are working on this .
Have seen DD a few times briefly while here that’s a bonus . Boys at home eating steaks each night !

KAtie I really feel for you. There seems to be a time in all our lives when we are torn between caring for a parent and being with our family. Take care.

I’m sitting here looking at the election results. I think it was about 15 minutes after polls closed and Antony Green (ABC vote man) called the election. Most unusual.

A very quick declaration cookie, not unexpected though I wouldn’t have thought.
Hang in there K Atie, your DM needs you more than anyone at the moment.

K Atie, tough times for you.  The boys will be ok.  Enjoy the bonus time with DD and do what you can for your Mum.
It rained most of the day yesterday.  Cool today.  Not sure where Summer went.

Lots of cooking today for GS party. Just a plain butter cake with white icing.
Yesterday, prepared garden bed for seedlings  that I have been growing.

We went to Costco this morning. It was a fairly quick trip as DH was with me, so no looking round. I managed to get some dried blueberries, dried cherries and lovely dried cherries. As well as a couple of other things

DH came to Melbourne for appointments late last night . Today my d sister and I decided that DM needed to try a night on her own , many reasons for this , one is to get carers in . So DH and are in a hotel and out for dinner tonight!! We got up graded from a king room to two rooms apartment  ( double the price ) no clue why . We are enjoying it but feels Weird to be able to stay and sit close to people for dinner .
Hoping mum copes and has her medicine also the morning will be interesting if she gets her cooked breakfast. It’s all about her routine that she has let us manage yet she needs to be able to to it herself to some degree . Thus she will agree to have a career come to help .
Sitting up in our room watching rubbish on television with a nice cup of tea .

I’m sure you enjoyed being spoiled KAtie.

We had a coffee run to the northern suburbs today. It was lovely.

I went to Costco then to my football club to buy a new outfit for this season. They even had the right coloured masks, I was hoping they would think of that. I picked up a small thermos at Costco to use for soup at the footy.  I had other jobs to do whilst I was out but time got away from me with too much browsing at these 2 places.

I did the grocery shopping this morning. The sign has gone up at DD’s block and it has been re surveyed.

The photo of DH and I ready for the wedding. ( a few weeks ago now)

The sign is a start cookie, I hope it moves forward now that it’s been resurveyed.
Oh red so suits you, a lovely photo. I must be honest and say that I didn’t recognise DH even though I met him many years ago.
