I did the supermarket shopping this morning.  Lots of bare shelves again.  Then had my hair cut this afternoon.

Hello again after a very long absence.  Today I was searching for broccoli and tangelo recipes and came here to look, as I often do when I want to find a great recipe. And also today I somehow remembered my login ;D

A lovely neighbour just gave me a big bag of tangelos and lemons, and 4 broccoli heads. So very soon I'll be cooking Chookies tangello marmalade and Jamie Olivers Sausage casserole which uses 350g of broccoli.

It's going to take quite a while to catch up but it's lovely to "see" you all again.

Hi Gayle, how lovely to see your name pop up, I love little surprises like that. I’m not surprised you found recipes to suit the ingredients you were given, there’s a treasure trove of recipes on here.
Hope you are keeping well, welcome back.

Hi all,
Wow I haven’t been on this site for years and there are so many names I still remember on here.
I have just purchased the TM6 and thought I would see what hints and tips I can find on here from all you lovely members.
This will be my 3rd Thermomix (TM31, TM5 and now TM6) 12 years as a Thermomix lover and I still use it most days.

How lovely to hear from you both again. Some lovely memories with both of you. Hope life is going well and you are enjoying it.
Dede the 6 is amazing, although I still have my 31 (caravan duties only now) and the 5.
Gayle I still enjoy making your SC bread. It’s delicious.

Thanks Guys,
I haven’t got the TM6 as yet, hopefully next week it will be in my hot little hands . I gave my TM31 to my first daughter when she left home and my TM5 will go to my second daughter when she leaves home. But in the mean time I will use both the TM5 and TM6 (lots of fun in the kitchen coming up).
I will be scanning this site for some inspirational new recipes to try out

Hi Mandi, lovely to see your post - welcome back to your TMX family.  JulieO posted her thoughts about the TM6 here, it’s well worth the read for new owners https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=17613.0.

Thank you all. Hope you are all well too.

Most of the things I cook are from here, although I cook a lot less now that there's just the two of us and we have to watch our waistlines  :-)). I've been toying with the idea of upgrading to a 6, but I'm reluctant to give up my trusty 31 with its two bowls. I tend to cook in a big flurry so they're very handy.  Well I'll keep an open mind and see what happens. Oh thank you Judy :)  I'm off to check out that link about the 6.

Interestingly, there are heaps of Thermi owners here. I have just joined the local CWA and a lot of the lovely ladies there own 6s. I'm looking forward to a lot of thermi chat  :)

Yes Cookie. I was very surprised. The CWA has changed a lot since my mum, and everyone else's mum where I grew up, were members. This branch meets at night and there's a wide range of ages and interests. I've told them that I may go AWOL from time to time, and I'm not the best cook, but they were ok with that  ;D

I went and watched DS last hockey game last night 7.30 pm !! We didn’t make the finals fist time in a lot of years . They played in continuous rain . DS went straight to have a shower and then home . They hopefully have a catch up game in a few weeks too. Don’t know why but it takes out of me standing watching for an hour and a half . Will miss our weekend routine .. late games night drives with L plater .
