Brooks are good shoes, Chookie.  This time my podiatrist recommended Hokka so I bought a pair and they seem to be pretty good.

Well done getting through the trauma of finalising all the paperwork for Ral, that would have been both challenging and difficult on many levels.

Chookie I can only imagine how many forms and information had to be copied and certified. It is a big job.

I went up to our local Westfield today and also the chemist. Got almost everything done.

Well done K Atie’s DS. We mums always worry when they first drive. The roads are such dangerous places.

I don’t think Mum’s ever stop worrying about their kids. I used to laugh when my Mum said this. But it is so true.

I did the vacuuming this morning. We then realised we had no hot water. The tank had split. So tonight and maybe tomorrow night we will be showering in the caravan. 😀😀

You may have read earlier in the week we had to get our new hot water system installed for much the same reason as you!  We got a heat pump and it was expensive but, environmentally, the best solution and it will "see us out".

We got exactly the same as we had.  DH was able to go to Bunnings, buy it and connect it up. So tonight we have hot showers in the house, instead of the van. I googled Heat Pump Marina. I hadn’t heard of them before but DH informed me he had.

Marina , I’ll be interested to know how the heat pump goes. Over the years we considered them but didn’t know anyone who had one.
Well done Mr Cookie.
I’ve finally finished sorting the very large collection of family photos and contacted family members to collect those relevant to them.
After just a couple of weeks of exercises and Tai Chi my balance is improving..

After my Dad passed away I had to sort out all the family photos and gave them to family.  I still have a box left that needs to go to my cousin but I am unable to find him.  There are quite a few photos of his father, my uncle, during his time as a prisoner of war.  There are others too of his grandparents and people he would know who were family friends.  I have searched for him on facebook and phone books etc with no luck.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Took DH to town to collect rental Ute , replacement for Ute for the time being, that was in accident.
It’s a two wheel drive not four , DH said it was a rough trip home ! I went on to yoga , which seems to be helping my shoulder a little .

That’s great news about your balance Chookie. I’m doing my exercises from the Physio. They did get dropped when I had Covid.

Off to the podiatrist again today, hopefully my feet will improve but I am arranging wheelchair assistance at the airports when we travel as I don't think I will be able to walk all the distances you need to in airports these days.  Still got a week to go so they might get better.

Marina, keep at it. Good idea to get wheelchair assistance.
Mab, that is interesting about the photos.  I rang a cousin , as I had sorted a pile of photos relevant to her family. She said to bin them. I was pretty shocked.

That is so sad Chookie.

I did the grocery shopping this morning.
