What have you been doing today?

I went to meet the Treasurer of the car club at the bank today to have my signature added to the club’s signatories.

Went and had a day out with the girls market , shops , lunch , shops and last stop a cool drink at the pub . Home to cook dinner just . DH DS decided to mow out the front with a tractor mower , ready for the road side burns further along !! Hit a rock and caused a fire . Neighbour came with a boot load of fire hydrants. This is comical yes . DH went and got our firetruck ! Fire captain came with town firetruck . All out but a little embarrassed.

Early start for the boys , windrowing contractors started , fencing men here too . Think a lot more was happening but no time to stop and tell me !. DS worked till 8.30 with DH . I collected DD from the train station, home for ten minutes then collected her car and gone !!

Just when I was about to give up on Facebook, I found and joined this group today:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/rtethermomixconverts/ it looks like it was only formed a day or two ago.

I’ve been away for the weekend with DD.
Marina, that is interesting.
DIL has found a place that sells cheap  accessories for TMX. She is buying me a bundle. I’ll let you know if any good.
Yesterday I attended a Probus Xmas lunch for the Finance group.

Not feeling the best today , so rest . DS left this arvo to go to his doorstep fire brigade roadside burn !!town and out our road !! Four and half hours later they are still going . Not sure I want to see his sorry face later . Frowning yo fast in his new adult world .

Out for lunch with TaiChi ladies. It has turned cold again.
Friend of DD who runs a fly fishing Chalet in Tassie has requested some Marmalade for his guests. I’ve sent a variety of flavours. Hope they like them.

A crazy couple of days. DS had his valedictory Dinner last night , it was great and slightly emotional as we are a graduating family . After we all went on to celebrate together. DS stayed we journeyed home . I collected DS this morning ( still feeling unwell ) then turned around to go back to have my hair done . Meanwhile DD had her Uni Design exhibition opening on the same night , rather sad we couldn’t be there . So there is the end of so many years of education for both . It’s been the hugest weeks .

It’s been a busy couple of days. A friends birthday, a club meeting, another birthday.  I will sleep very well tonight.

Me too Marina but we have a warmer weekend coming up. I’m all ready for the hot weather now, my hair had grown a lot longer than usual. For the first time in my life I had a male cut it and I was quite happy with the results.

I had mine done a week ago. It seems we are all ready for summer.

It’s 12 months since I shifted into this new home. I think I need to do the next clear out will have a go at the storage in the garage.
