I havent done this but why dont you try doing 10 or 15 steps amongst you all? I think that you have programmed the FB and it will calculate accordingly.

I am going to be obsessed abpout sleeping now lol, my hubby wore the fitbit last night and when he awoke he said he had the worst night sleep he has had in ages and when I downloaded the data it said he had woken up 2 x and had a sleep effiency of 100%.  I woke up 22 times the night before lol.

Now I am going to ramp up my steps.  It is good hearing about how everyone else gets their steps in.

Well done Mandi. Steadily down now matter how slow or small of a loss is still down and that is what matters.  Remember slower weight loss usually means it stays off. Quick losses usually come back with friends.

And I like the sound of that, although I would love to see a difference quicker, I would rather loose it slowly and keep it off :D

The idea of rapid weight loss is perpetuated by those transformation shows which are designed solely to get ratings to sell advertising space. You find that most of those people put some if not all of their weight back on eventually.

Sustainable weight loss is all about lifestyle change, establishing new healthy habits and resetting your body's base point. This all takes time.

I agree Dash, and I think that's we're people need to change their thinking on how to loose weight successfully. I'm really confident that what I'm doing is going to keep the weight off once I get down to where I would like to be, although I'm not putting any pressure on myself to get to a certain weight, I think my body will tell me when I'm there. At the moment I'm just focusing on eating better and exercising more to become an ongoing part of my life :)
