Visited eldest DD and her new cat tonight. I am happy that she adopted a blind adult cat from an animal shelter. It means a good home for an animal that might not have found one.

Reading about your DD and her new cat just made me happy Dashingden. What a lovely story, it's so nice when an older pet can be adopted by a good home.

My sister adopted a cat with only one eye from a shelter this year also.

Both my cats were street cats we trapped. Tycho the black boy & Tangles the grey girl.

Tycho is nearly 4 & Tangles is 1. They dont get on.

We used to have a cat who was black and white, and one-eyed..... and we lived in Collingwood at the time! Sorry that might be a bit obscure for those who don't follow the AFL  ;).

I am happy that I have done all my work for the day, and been shopping for birthdays.

Now I can relax for the day at work..
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
