No public holiday for WA either :-))

Those beagles sound horrible Judy :( My mum has never liked beagles and I've never understood why, but that gives me a bit of a idea :P

I hope your DD's dogs behave for you Den ;)

Beagles are quite OK Amy if you choose from the litter OK.  This particular dog cowered in the corner when DD went to choose one and she felt sorry for it.  Never choose a dog that cowers, choose the one who rushes up and wants to lick you to death.  Her first beagle was a lovely dog but their food obsession can be a bit trying at times.  You can't leave anything around, even on tables etc because they will get to it somehow.

Yes, dogs seem to think with their stomachs don't they? My boxer and labrador are bad enough, I would hate to experience beagle begging! :o
What you said about dogs that cower - that explains something about my last dog, Murphy. The day mum went to pick a puppy from his litter she choose him because he just sat quiety in the corner while all the brown pups jumped up and wanted to play :-))
We had to have him put down a couple of years ago because he was too dangerous to take out. He was lovely and affectionate towards mum and I, but very few others :(

Kimmy, I want a husky x malamute for my next puppy ;D

I used to have a dalmatian. He was very energetic, but a friend had one that would run circles around him.

I bet dalmations laugh at us when we try to figure out which way the colours go :-))
I read that dalmations can be a bit aggressive.... :-\
