Mammograms aren't an accurate diagnostic tool in younger women. Self examination is the way to go under 40yrs.

Yes, I was told that the mammogram would not be very accurate. Apparently it's because younger boobs are too dense and therefore a tumor cannot easily be found. That is why they aren't readily available for younger women - it's kind of a waste of time and money. I'm happy I was given an ultrasound too although it was very strange to be given one and not be looking at a baby on the screen!

Happy that a neighbour I hadn't met yet brought round a tray of 24 macarons that she couldn't sell at the market today and didn't want to throw in the bin. She ran off before I could find out her name or exactly where she lives, her English was a bit wobbly and she was shy. Next time I see her I will make sure I give her some of my homemade pickles and jams. There are some lovely people in the world 😊

That is so lovely Bonsai. Pity there isn't more of it. We are lucky and have lovely neighbours.
