Has anyone read the book this article is about?

What a touching article.  The author sounds quite an inspiring lady.

I loved the Bronze horseman but found the following two were much more of a struggle to get through which I found a bit disappointing. Still struggling through my Kate Morton book, i fall asleep after reading for only 10 minutes or so which is normally a sign I'm not enjoying the book but I have to get through it for bookclub.

LOL, Fundj. I remember reading that series about 30 years ago too. It was all the rage.

I'm finally getting back into my wading after ages and ages of not touching a novel. Despite saying im a ink and paper kind of girl the covenience of reading on my iPad can't be beaten and I live it now.

Recently I've read the 50 Shades series And I must be the odd one out here because I really enjoyed it. Never ever thought I would but it's a very easy read and it certainly "spiced things up" at home.  :-))
Then I read the Hunger Games trilogy after watching the movie. Again a very easy read and I'm looking forward to the next movie.
And the last book. Just finished is The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort. It's an autobiography but I warn you there's drugs sex and a lot of swearing in it. It's about a bloke who lived the Wall St high life and what that life was like. Really enjoyed it and there's a second one in the series so I think I'll start that soon.

Hi jadey, glad someone enjoyed shades of whatsit.  I might have a go at Hunger Games soon and The Wolf of Wall Street sounds interesting as well.

I just got the first of the 15 books I ordered. It would seem they're being sent one at a time :-))

Does anyone remember me posting this?

Well I got some more of the books today. All from the same place, all wrapped individualliy... Why don't they just put them all in the same postage bag?

 ??? ??? ???

I agree, Amy, seems absurd but it may be a weight / bulk issue from the supplier's end.  The main thing is, you got the books in the end.

You're probably right Marina. Some technical issue just to annoy us consumers :-))

Are they from Book Depository Amy ? They often send them individually. I think it is something to do with the postage costs.
