What book are you reading?

I've just started Gone Girl.

I've been eyeing that book in Dymocks Cookie, I'd like to hear what you think when you've finished it

Quite a few people have spoken about it on here Amy. I will give my opinion when I finish it though. So far I am enjoying it.
Hope the storms haven't shaken Albany up too much.

The storms aren't too bad, our main problem is that Paddy doesn't like getting his feet wet so he's been peeing inside all day

Can just imagine the glasses fogging up Gretch  I went a bit mad last night downloading books in prep for when we go away. I want to read the great Gatsby before I go see the film with my sister. The Misrembered Man, The Sisterhood, The Fields, Defending Jacob,  The Dovekeepers, Whistling Woman, Delirium, and The Dinner.

Crumbs, CP, that's a lot of reading to get through.  Looking forward to hearing your verdict on the books.

I've just put down "I Came to Say Goodbye" by Caroline Overington. It should lead to some interesting discussions at book club. I liked the style of writing, and the fact that you were compelled to keep reading as you were never sure  what had happened, and why the story was being told by the grandfather.

I 've just read and enjoyed another Katherine Howell novel - Silent Fear.

Since we have been up here I have read Gone Girl, a Nora Roberts, a Camilla Lackberg and now I am reading the first book of a new author. The book is called The Bay Of Fires. It's ok so far.

Really makes you think and so descriptive.
