I am rereading Cross Stitch/Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, gearing up for the TV series later in the year. Cannot wait!

By Anne de courcy ( husband hunting in the raj) It comes very recommended by sister, mother and mother's good friend. Expect it will take ages as not much time for reading! Ooooo that is on my wish list along with about 40 others! So little time and so many books!Quote from: troupie on March 11, 2014, 08:03:57 amI have finished Agatha Christie (not all of them of course as there was about 80 in the set I got for the ereader) and have moved on to Arthur Upfield and one of his Bony stories about the Australian bush around 1930. I like paper books as well but some of them get a bit heavy to hold. I agree troupie. No good in the bath either. at least I can hold the kindle with one hand and a glass in the otherGert

Is Cross Stitch the first or fourth book in the series? I have just been on the Amazon site and in one place it says it is book one, in another area it says it is book four ... I am confused!
Gone Fishing by Susan Duncan, a Christmas present put on the ereader for me. Have also read her Salvation Creek books which I loved.
My last Book Club book was by Louise Penny. I really enjoyed it so will be looking out for some more of her books. They are another crime lot. At the moment DD is doing some judging for Australian Romance books, so I am reading them and offering my 2 cents worth. Not that it is being taken though. Very light, fluffy reading. I am enjoying them in between my crime books though.
