Wonder, The Little Paris Bookshop would be an excellent choice for a book club. Wonderful theme and wonderful characters. Very juicy for conversations.

Wonder, the Girl in the Spider web stays very true to the original stories so far. I am only half way through it so far. I have found it very easy to read.

I enjoyed the Usain Bolt book. His writing style was interesting. His personality really comes through in his writing. Sprinters tend to have a very alpha/outgoing personailty and that is really obvious.  He also doesn't seem to gloss over his love of junk food and partying and how it nearly derailed his career.

I enjoy the Kathy Reichs books too DD. I haven't read anything from Sue Grafton for a while. I've almost finished my current book so will go and peek in the bookcase to see what I will bring to Melbourne with me. It may be easier to put some of the books DD has onto my Kindle.

I have almost finished reading The Devil in Tim, just coincidence that I am off to Tassie this week, but it is a good history of Tasmania.

My DD gave me Di Morrisseys latest book, Rain Music and I have just finished it. I enjoy her books as she mostly writes about some place in Australia and I have quite often been there which makes it enjoyable. Am now reading Escape from Kabul.

On Tues I went to the Tropical Writers Lunch where Di Morrissey was the guest speaker. The book was selling for well over $20. I bought it on Kindle for $9.62. Set in Cooktown which is near here.

I have Di Morrissey's latest. I haven't read it yet. I have just finished Tess Gerritsen's latest. It was quite different to her usual books and I enjoyed it even more. I'm reading a scurrilous french novel at the moment.

It's a romance book Marina. DH always calls them scurrilous French novels. When Mum was alive he loved to torment her calling them that.

I'm reading Patricia Cornwell's Flesh and Blood, but struggling through it. It's just not grabbing me.

Some of her newer books are no where near as good as the earlier ones. However I keep buying and reading them. 😏😏😏

It would be special to meet the author Gert; I did enjoy the book and I too had it on the e reader.

I used to enjoy Patricia Cornwall but she got too scary for me.

I have just finished reading Rachael Joyce's The Love Story of Queenie Hennessy and really enjoyed it.

I've been reading quite a bit, that is what puts me off to sleep on the warm afternoons.
I've finished John Grisham's latest, Rogue Lawyer. I really enjoyed that. Our book club book was The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd, I really enjoyed that.
I have also discovered a new 'who dun it ' author, Dana Stabenow. She is Alaskan and sets her books there. Quite different.
I fitted a few romance novels in there too. At the moment I am reading one by Victorian Purman who sets hers in South Australia. This one is set near Port Lincoln.
