Made this cake as cupcakes today - very quick and easy.
I tried it as cupcakes the other day, still taste great, but the tops are peaked and cracked. Did your cupcakes turn out even? Is there a knack to this?
CarolineW I made a rollar skate cake many years ago and was rather pleased with myself. I copied it from the WW children's birthday cake book. I used liquorice and for the icing did that meringue type icing.
Hi sue perb,Mixed everything in TM as per recipeEmtpy into a clean bowl, I like to see how much mixture I havePut cup cake tins (i use silicone) on to baking traysPut cupcake cases in squashing down frimly on btoomUse a soup spoon (type u use to eat soup)have a nice rounded spoon and place into caseDo this until all mixture is used, shoukd 3/4 fill cup cake cases, do not be tempted to overfillLay foil over the top , to keep caes flat, i dont do foil now as ths technique makes perfect flat cup caes for me.Cook in preheared oven for 24 mins at 180 fan forced.Hally
