MJ  and stef that is so sad. I am not a dog person but recently had to make the same decision with our inherited budgie. We now have a new Monty to replace him and he is becoming part of the family too. I must post his photo too

My thoughts are with you Stef and Zeno  and MJ and Rambo.  We went through a similar thing 4 years ago, it was the right thing for us to do but so very hard to do it.
All the best

So sorry to hear of Zeno's troubles.

I have to share my good news!! RAMBO IS OKAY!!!

Xrays are fine and healing is progressing well. I'm picking him up tomorrow and have to keep him quiet for another four weeks!!
Here's a photo from better times:

Rambo is a great looking dog, but it sounds like you've got your hands full keeping him quiet whilst he recuperates!

Rambo is a unique dog alright. Good luck keeping him quiet for four more weeks.  He has now become part of this family so we will be  wanting updates .  Crazy doggie.

Stef, he's gorgeous!

Yes, Rambo lives up to his name. There's no keeping him down. We adore him. Our kids think we're nuts, especially DH as he's not a dog person at all!
