This is our new 'home' for the next 4 days.  We have been given an upgrade.  Wow,  what a holiday.

We have just enjoyed afternoon tea from the Goodies bag.  I would like to thank the members who went to so much trouble.  BLUSH! BLUSH,  I can't remember who gave me these delicious goodies.  Is it possible to list names and goodies of those who are willing ?  I could start a new thread,  will try!!!  Judy and Cookie might sort me out if I mess up.

Good to hear you arrived home safely Gert. :)
Knock them dead when you walk the catwalk on Saturday.  ;) :D

It is quite possible if I fall off the runway on to a punter. LOL!

You will laugh at this one, girl  from Myer rang and asked if I could model for the TS range of clothes on Sat and would I mind wearing a swim suit?

She must have seen that bedroom pic of you in the bed  :D Go for it, wish I could be there to clap and cheer!

PS. I did a little detour on the way home today and what do you know I ended up at the Apple store... I may be a little quiet tonight  ;)

Gretch can you post me some basic instructions on how to upload photo's direct? Chookie was giving me lessons last night but I think I need to write them down

I made it home about 10.15 last night, exhausted but happy. Many thanks to Meagan for taking me to the airport, to my lovely housemates, and to CP for having a wonderful idea and following it through. It was a great weekend, and I met some lovely people.
Back to reality with a thud this morning as I unpacked and cleaned up. The family survived without me, but DH is exhausted too LOL
I had a yummy lunch with JD today, as I had some things for her, including all her goody bag items. It was lovely to see her and tell her about the weekend.  :)

Today I had a visit from the lovely ES who came all the way from the other side of town to deliver my goodies basket.  How special do you think I felt that all the beautiful gifts found their way to my house and yet my gift is still sitting in the cupboard.  I was able to give Sue a few packets and anyone and everyone who visits will go home with some as well.

We had a quick lunch and chat about the retreat before I had to leave for my daily visit to the hospital but we could have talked for a couple hours more aye Sue?

Thanks everyone for your contribution to the bags, I went through it with Sue but will be doing so again shortly and I was amazed at the various ideas that people came up with to make this bag so interesting.  Well done everyone and thank you again Sue for your visit - after a hectic weekend I know you would have had plenty to do at home without having to make a special trip down here.  I appreciate it so much.  :-* :-* :-*

Judy,  we all found ES to be a very special person.  It doesn't surprise me that she made an effort to bring the goodies to you.  Thanks Runaround sue.  ( this is what Ral calls Sue).
Judy we hope you enjoy the Goodies, you may like to check to see who they are from.  I have started a thread  where retreater may post what they made.  Ral and I had afternoon tea and them Dinner from the Goodies  bag !!!!

What great fun Gert. You look excellent in colour (the orange and red you wore on the weekend).
I can absolutely see why they would want you on the catwalk.

I am glad to see you got home ok. How was your flight and then the drive?

I think they just needed a " senior" to  add to the balance of young chicks!!

You will do great Gert just make sure you have a glass of wine in your hand.

I'm trying to set up a blog with photos and info from the weekend, would you mind if I used some of your photos I'll credit you of course.

Great idea . Go for your life. No need for credit as most were crap.
