EDC scones. Turned out great considering recipe had way too much buttermilk. Forgot to right Jo's tip of 300g in book. Of course, I have now :D

We had scones too Kimmy :)
I wanted to make Jo's recipe but didn't have any buttermilk, so I made Nay Nay's instead...I forgot how yummy and easy scones are, I should make them more...and as a bonus it kept DD busy for a little while making shapes (and eating) the dough :)

Good idea to keep DD busy jam. I love nay nay's recipe too.  I didn't have buttermilk either, so used lemon juice and normal milk as per EDC suggestion. Seemed to work fine.

Continued on pretty much the same after lunch unfortunately.
Happy I'm heading home on the train now, looking forward to putting on my pj's and eating the curry I made yesterday.

DD and two of the GC's came for lunch today.  We had chicken & salad in fresh bread rolls.  Then ate the cake I had made for tomorrow with our cuppa.  Looks like I will have to do some baking tonight. :)
