The fridge is almost bare but I managed to rustle up this lunch today.  The Garden Harvest Quiche was made ages ago from a little Sanitarium booklet and has 3 weetbix in the pastry.  I wasn't that keen when it was first made but after it being frozen and reheated, I must say it tastes pretty good.  The potatoes were held back from yesterday's warm tuna salad with these crispy little cubes in mind and for salad, beetroot and cucumber was all I could manage today.  Shopping is on the agenda for later in the day - if I can fit it in.

Made some pesto this morning using a combination of a couple of different recipes.  Not keen on pesto normally but I did enjoy my pesto pasta for lunch today.

Been craving for some Penang Assam Laksa. So whipped up a pot of piping hot soup for lunch, despite it being summer. 😋

Looks lovely BZB.

We had a picnic at Mangrove Mountain today. Guacamole dip, garlic and herb dip, JD's caramelised onion tarts. Homemade burgers and chicken satay sticks.
