Step-son here for lunch today (at short notice) so into the freezer once more and  :'( :'( :'( the last of my 'retreat meals', not including snacks, came to the rescue - hoisin chicken and garlic rice together with some little tarts and quiches to make sure they were well fed.

At least it came in handy and saved you cooking  for guests today  ;)
That's what is great about meals in the freezer.
We can always effortlessly feed guests especially unexpected ones  :)

Yes Michelle  it was, I was shopping, doing the kids movies with my Best friend yesterday, and my DH, and our 2 kids.

I had to be good, as she is extremely healthy, all the time, every day..

But, it was so good to catch up with her... :D :D :D :D

Sounds like she is a good role model Robyn :)

I'm making some chicken, tomato and cheese rolls for DM, SD, and our friend Jack who is coming over for lunch :D I'm using leftover slow roasted chicken so they should be extra yummy ;)
