I love Newtons Circus as well. Another great Hawker place is Lau Pa Sat. Oh Singapore the food choices are endless  :)
German pub lovely ambience and thought maybe Hally's DS would enjoy the pizza thing. My GC's all love different cuisines but sometimes they just want something plain at lunchtime.  And DH likes to have a cold beer there if we are in that area.
Didn't know Max  Brenners was in Vivocity Cookie. Yum!!!

Ha ha  ;D no it's not called pizza. :-))  I can't remember the name but it's square and has a crispy base with toppings on it. My GS aged 9 enjoyed it and I tried a speck and Chilli one which was tasty. Will google the name and let you know ;D

Called Fladen and made with a rye crust. I guess a German take on a pizza. They have an excellent menu but like you I don't want to eat German food in Singapore. Great beers and nice wine by the riverfront.  :)

It was delicious as a snack between brunch and dinner.  :) Like I say nice ambience by the riverfront and  DH always enjoys a nice cold beer mid afternoon and it's the place to go after trawling the shops  :)

Sounds good Gert. From memory the one I had had very thinly cut slices of tomato with the speck, finely chopped fresh chilli and onion, and i think some mozarella but again used sparingly. Only a small amount of tomato pizza sauce on the base which was crispy.  :) very tasty

Hally, buy the wallet. They last for ever.
