Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a question re the Chocolate Honeycomb Cheesecake recipe that appears in Tenina's What's For Dessert e-book.
I can't see anywhere in the recipe where it refers to what ingredients should be in the base of the cheesecake and how to make it. All of the ingredients listed seem to be for the filling and the top and the instructions just say "Pour cheesecake mix onto base...".
Am I going crazy or is the base part of this recipe missing? Can anyone else with this book please confirm that I am reading it right?
Thanks in advance

You are right, there is no ingredients or anything for the base. I would grind up some chocolate biscuits and mix them with melted butter and press into the tin to make a base.

Asha, on page 5 of the ebook there's an "All purpose biscuit base" recipe which is what I used for the Salted Caramel Ice cream Torte.
If you prefer a pastry base, there's one attached to the "Double Choc Tart with Praline" recipe.
Haven't tried the pastry one, but the biscuit one was really good as it was baked before adding the topping and so was more pastry like anyway than a normal biscuit base.

Thanks JulieO - perhaps little notes on the page saying "see page such and such) would help in future publications
I would have missed this as I'm not good at reading cover to cover . . . .
