The silver thingies are for lifting the pizza on and off the stone, I put the base on these make the pizza and then put on the stone.

Had the bazaar bases last night as the others were sold out. They don't crisp as well as the Pittes brand but still nice.
Thanks Yvette,  good to know.

Nothing special, just family and friends getting together at our home. I'm excited that my brother and SIL are coming. There is only my brother and myself and we are fairly close. DB and SIL have been on holiday so haven't seen them for about 3 months. They will pick mum up on the way. And I will have all the children and spouses, girl/boy friends except my daughter and SIL, they already had plans.

Sounds pretty special to me, mcmich!! :D

We have one of those big spatulas as well Mich. It came with our BBQ pizza stones. It's the biggest spatula I've ever seen!

How do you go storing it Katie? They are good but where do you put when it's not in use?

We keep it, along with the BBQ pizza stones in the BBQ, in the underneath cupboard thing.

They are wrapped in tea towels and the BBQ has a cover, so they stay clean.

Yes haybray - had that problem too - Another forum member, Rob, answered my query and apparently the settings were too low.  We may need to ask CP to repost . . .

That's a shame. I had to downsize it so it would be acceptable. Maybe PM me your email address and when I get a chance next week I will send you the details in an attachment.

CP, just a thought and you probably tried it already...can you not just copy from word doc and paste it here?

No I don't have a word doc as I had to scan it off a page that I didn't save when I should have.

Well my first batch of pizzas have been made.  1.5 eaten, 1 given to Mum, 1 in the freezer and 1/2 to have with other leftovers for tea tonight.  I am thrilled to bits with this new machine and the fact that I now finally get the crispy bottoms that have been lacking on my previous pizzas.  I still got myself in a mess with ingredients, utensils etc everywhere over the limited working space in my kitchen but I'm sure I will get better at it with practice.

Today I made the pizza dough from the EDC which made 4 pizzas - I used to only make 3 but I didn't rush the proving times today and managed to get the 4 quite easily.  Used bought pizza sauce as I recently had to buy so many Leggo's products to get a free book, made 3 ham, cheese & pineapple plus a bacon, asparagus, red onion and cheese.

I cooked my home made bases for 6 minutes but kept checking after 3 minutes with the first one to make sure I wasn't overcooking it.  I used reusable silicon liners which were easily picked up to and from the machine.

I must say I was surprised with the light weight of this machine as I was expecting something heavy like the George Foreman Grill.
