kindy is 3 full days one week and 2 full days the next.  they turn 4 before
June 30 so she will be one of the youngest and trying to find a school skirt to fit no chance, had to get her dress custom made, they really need to think aboutthese things.
next year full time pre primary 5 days a week and she will be only 4 and a half

Jo, DS good at school and saving playing up for home....you just described my too ;)

I was a June baby and started school at 4 1/2. In year 12 I turned 17 and most of my friends turned 18 several weeks later. I coped. Hard waiting to be legal to drive and drink for sooo long, but it really wasn't that bad :)

DS is at school today (first day back).  He was really excited and happy.  He has 2 teachers this year (one teaches the early morning, and other after morning tea until end of day), so that's a bit different.  And he's not in with his good friends from last year, but a few classmates, so he's happy enough.

DD and I had playcentre this morning, so fun and games there - a small person with purple paint all over their hand must have touched my hair though - I came home with a half purple hair bun! LOL.

DS's school has the age cutoff about June - if they start before that, their first year is "year one", if they start after that, the first year is "year zero".

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

I am babysitting my friends kid and I'm loving it! My only child and our friend are just looking after themselves, playing happily. I'm catching up on paperwork. This is fab!

In Victoria, you must turn 5 before 30th April. DS was born 1st May. He missed cut off by 6 1/2 hours!

School then my mum will take him to swimming lessons. I am filling in at my old job today, so working 9-5 today and every 1st Tuesday of the month.
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate
