My DH is the tech-savvy person in our house - and after he saw how much time I spend on the forum, he changed my internet homepage to the forum, so as soon as I connect to the internet, the forum is the first page that automatically comes up

Same prob here,  but thought it was us in isolation in the Bush.

I have my own way of dealing with nasty people who think they are in competition.  Be generous and share like mad.  They can't compete with this.  This is what this Forum is all about.

Pity it is so one sided though chookie! Some people are slow learners.

I have reported to MM the trouble we are having from time to time with connecting issues so hopefully he will be able to get to the bottom of it.

I agree Chookie, nothing annoys stingy, meanspirited, sneaky people than a spirit of generosity, sharing and openess.  :)

I've just got to read all about this intrigue. I also have had problems and thought it was our computer/Internet   Interesting.

I haven't had any problems, but I haven't been on a lot lately.

I use Google Chrome as my browser and all your popular pages appear as images on your home page, I just love it.

HO have actually connected the www.forumthermomix.com.au to their recipe community home page. If you type it into your browser, it will go straight there. That's deceitful, IMO.

I think we should change the domain to www.theunofficialthermothingyforum.com or maybe just thermothingy.com!
 :D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Deceitful yes but smart finally and perfectly legal. It is all about  google and the workings behind the sites that is important in the cyber world. It would not be advantageous  for MM to migrate this site to a new name and especially and THERMOTHINGY name as no one but us  would be looking for a THERMOTHINGY . LOL!

It is really all about  nastiness and getting traffic to a very  unpopular site.

I am so falling out of love with my THERMOTHINGY and thinking about an upgrade to a Gastro which does  more interesting things. To be honest the Varoma is not really needed. I have a steamer  which is far more  efficient to use when needs be.  I just join the HMP forum so hopefully it will complement this wonderful forum  without taking anything away from here.

My THERMOTHINGY is now 3 years old.It has a hole in  the timer button . The numbers have worn off and the switch on is wry temprmental.

Should I spend the money getting it serviced  or should I  invest in a bright new  up graded  Thermo machine without all the baggage?
