Judy your scrubby looks great. Thanks for all the searching you have done about it, I'd love to try making one. I did not make that one though.  :) :) ;D

I think I could make those scubbies, only need 14 stitches, now where are the knitting needles, I saw them about 20 years ago lol.
So obviously it wasn't me.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I found this and am wondering if this is how they are made although how do the multi coloured rows appear, tuille doesn't come in a mixture of colours all on the same roll does it?

Then I found an update of the above and it is about the same size as mine so I think we are getting close  ;D.

You are a master of Google JD. LOL!

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was young. Not sure if I would remember how to knit anymore though. So wasn't me either. Sorry Judy. I reckon if we keep at it then the person who sent the gift can be flushed out lol :D

Sadly they are in the op shops Jeniwa I had a dear friend, well she still is. Anyway she was having her last child and a son and wanted a  special baby blanket. I , having not a clue, bought some of those big knitting needles and started knitting for the first time. I went overboard as I had no idea how to finish off so the Navy and white  striped cot blanket was big enough for a 3/4  bed and lasted well into his teens. My one and only knitted garmet bar one , but that is another story about saving someone's life with a hand knitted jumper.

How those knitted scrubbies bring back memories. LOL!

I only ever learnt to knit squares in girl guides we would then make them into blankets for the less fortunate

Well I do need a little occupation when baby sitting. This fits the bill.
Idea anyway. I love ideas.

What about an Angelina Ballerina tulle skirt for Eve's first Christmas. Surely she will be walking by then!   ;D
