I love it too Jo. Have fun with your thermie.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

That all sounds great Jo

The party was a success and all the food was delicious. The only problem I ran into was making the buttercream frosting to go under the fondant. I tried making it in the TM, but it was an utter failure, so (after going to the shops to buy icing sugar) I made it using the kitchen aid.

I'm so glad I had the TM. It would have been way harder trying to do everything without it.

Glad it all went well. I have same prob with buttercream and just prefer to set up bench mixer ( its the only time it gets used now) and go for it the old fashioned way. You get a whiter color which is easier to tint to get the right color result. Well done :)

Glad it was a success!  And happy birthday(s)!!  :D
Jo

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

Happy Birthday!

I'll do a search for that thread and will upload a pic.  I'm pretty proud of my efforts

I had sooooo much fun.  I am glad my sister was here to help out with DS, as I had a couple (too many) drinks, and I was so busy making sure that everyone else was eating that I didn't eat anything other than a couple of bits of bread and dip  :-))

Glad it all went well shkooter.  Now when was your actual birthday, I need to add it to my forum birthday book.  Happy birthday if it has been already, it sounds as if you enjoyed the joint birthday party.

My birthday was yesterday Judy.  We like to get them all over with quickly - my son is today, and my husband is on Thursday :)
