Strain it through a muslin for 12 hours min for soft cheese. Hang over bowl in fridge. Salt it after, eat within 2 days.

Delic.

Woah, ever heard of that DJ, whats the cheese similar too & do you eat with crackers?

Dinner Spinner, almond chicen curry with yoghurt is one dish.

I think a lot of jamies 15 min meals use yoghurt, so will check.

All ideas welcome ;D

I've done it before, really good too.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strained_yoghurt

You can have it plain on crackers or  them in fresh herbs, oatmeal, ground pepper, whatever you like.

Lots of ideas Hally
Mix it with some blended fruits, mango, strawberries, peaches and freeze like icy poles
Put it through mashed potato instead of milk,
Grate a couple of beetroots , garlic, and feta , add yogurt, blitz and you have a nice dip,
Have it for breakfast with a nice granola and blueberries.
Hope this helps  :)

Chicken in Yoghurt in the Indian cookbook uses 500g of Greek style yoghurt. It's really nice!  :D

I have a blueberry buttermilk cake on my blog, I often use yoghurt if I don't have buttermilk handy in that recipe.  It is a fabulously light cake - almost like a friand.

I often substitute yoghurt for buttermilk because I buy Greek yoghurt in the big tubs and always have some on hand.  I use it for nigellas ritzy nuggets too!

Glad I'm not the only one to do that.

I've got a roll of filo pastry in the fridge.  Bought 2 weeks ago - reason ??.  Wish I could remember

And that can of pears in chocolate syrup in the pantry?   I remember seeing a recipe, went out and bought it.  Wish I could find the recipe now.

Kimmy, I wouldn't mind that recipe.  I'me cleaning out my pantry and have a bag of semolina I was going to toss out and I'm making yoghurt in the TMX tomorrow, so your timing is great.
