Hi everyone,  yesterday got out and about and visited a couple places.  The first photo was taken on the road to Amber Fort which is about 11kms from Jaipur.  The next is the Lake palace which because they have had so much rain this year the first two stories are under water.  We then returned to Jaipur to the City Palace.  The pink building is the Palace of the Winds which was built so that the ladies of the court could look out and see what was happening and the last one is of an artist from the city palace.

Fabulous photos! What a good looking man the groom is! Did no one else notice?

The colours are just outrageous, so much red and yellow. Thanks for taking the time to send us all on the virtual trip to India, trudy.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
