Yes Moptop it is a really beautiful country and well worth a visit.
Jude I much prefer to order a la carte but as my mum is so fussy a compromise  is necessary. She thoroughly enjoyed it so I am happy. She certainly got her money's worth.  ;D I know Peppers and handy to walk into town.
Cookie I think this gondola is far less scary than the cable cars over the water in Singapore. Would you agree?
I was petrified on that one  :o

Thank you Judy for such lovely words. It is sweet of you. DH really enjoyed himself at Karen, so thank you all for making him so welcome and comfortable.

MF I was scared on both. The first time we went over to Sentosa on the cable car it was pouring with rain. I think I was less scared there than NZ actually. We had a couple of young lasses in with us going to Sentosa that time who were really freaking out. On the outside I was the mature adult, but on the inside I was just as bad as they were.
I even have great trouble walking on the tree top walk in Walpole (WA) or up at King's Park.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Had a lovely day here today. This morning we drove down to Kingston and took a ride on the old vintage steam train, the Kingston Flyer, that runs between Kingston and Fairlight. Nothing much to see but a nice ride through farmland. A cloudy morning but brilliant sunshine in the afternoon.

Then had lunch at Jacks Point before heading into Queenstown for a browse around the shops and a glass of wine and soe tapas before heading back to the house around 7pm. Some photos of the Mall and lakeside.

You did better than me Cookie as I had to get off at the first stop and walk as I was terrified. I then had to get a taxi to take me to the Sentosa ferry so I could meet DH and my 4 kids who were all young at the time. I will never forget it!
I haven't done the tree top walk so maybe I shouldn't LOL  :o
