Had a surreal moment on Sunday. DW was helping me in the kitchen to make some rusks while i made these fantastic nuts. For the rusks you roll pieces of dough into balls with oiled hands before popping them into a pan. Well DW took a call from a friend and I overheard the conversation...

Friend: "Hi there, what're you two up to?" DW: "Rob's roasting his nuts and i'm oiling his balls" Surreal or what!!  :o ;D
That's so funny :D :D :D really made me laugh :D :D :D

Love, love, LOVE these! I thought they would make nice gifts for teachers but I don't think they'll last until last day of school. Looks like I'll be making some more next week!

Is there anything I could replace the egg white with? Was hoping to make this to take out but friend is allergic to eggs.

Making these for gifts - they were brilliant last year!

Was there an answer to replacing the egg white? - Need to consider some with allergies . . . .

I'm not too sure goldfish about what to replace the eggwhite with.  Hopefully someone can come up with a suggestion.  ???
Must make some again myself as they were lovely.  :)
