Me too as there might be a lot of interstaters to transport north or south and not enough South Australians to carry them all. The Barossa is only about an hour's drive from Adelaide.  Pick a month - OK July, how does that sound?

June would work better for me as my youngest will be doing year 12 next year & I don't want to leave things until later in the year.

Depending upon how much we want to spend, I have loads of contacts in foodie type places & hotels.  I'm not sure how much you all paid for the WA retreat, but a hotel would certainly put us all in the one place - with a bar!!  :D

I suspect a caravan park might be a little spartan in the middle of winter and would also leave us with transport issues, whereas we could be in the middle of town in a hotel.

Just going on Gert's suggestion I'm quite sure I could ask a nice hotel  to put on a special rate and throw in a dinner showing off some of our special local food products. 
I could also quite possibly get some tour ideas happening, using my contacts.

Pick up on the Sat. At the hotel after brekkie.

All for Barossa  or

One for the Hills

And one for the Barossa

The rest tour the Markets and town.

Meet back at the hotel for dinner and goodies
