Barossa would be great. I would love to go to Maggie beers. Second thoughts maybe I could be chief   :-))  and I would just need a couple of local Indians? (My mind is starting to roll with some ideas) of course if someone wants to I'm not going to use stand over tactics.

OK I am going to weigh into this very surprising thread at last.  I am just sitting here reading everything and it's going way too fast for me  ;D

Firstly Gretchen do conference centres offer accommodation - see I know nothing about organising so many people.  If I had a huge house you would all be welcome here but most people know my record of being actually able to get to anything which I have planned to attend. :-))

Of course I would put my name down but that doesn't mean I'd get there.  I'm sure ideas will come in thick and fast and it would be lovely if someone can pull it off.  CP you would be perfect.

Yes JD a conference centre would have accommodation..

CP   Maybe you have contacts but really what you did for us in Perth was above and beyond . It was just wonderful. The price was right . The whole thing worked beautifully. Faultless really.

Because of your success the next one will be more popular but could be less complicated for the organiser. One place would avoid all the house sharing personality issues. People could buddy up or not.

If someone knew of a conference/ hotel/motel place that would let us take over the kitchen and cook for ourselves that would be fun and cheaper.

But we may find  a fun place with a relaxed atmosphere if we put our thinking caps on.

This thread has really caught on.  At this stage I would love to come (I would especially love to see the Barossa), but, in reality, probably wouldn't be able to make it as we will be travelling to Europe / Scotland late May / early June and it wlil take ages for me to catch up at work once we return.  However, my main point here is, I believe for Judy to be able to attend at least some part of the fun it would be good to arrange the accommodation or at least one or two meals or get-togethers in a location near her, that way she may be able to slip away more easily.  Judy, would Geoff be up to meeting a hoard of giddy women or would he be happier to leave you to come away for an wee while by yourself?

how about something like this http://www.adelaideshores.com.au/accom/caravan/cabins/deluxe.aspx

Kitchens
In addition to the BBQs scattered throughout the park, there is an International Kitchen located within the international campervan area and a Camp Kitchen located within the camping area.

Bunkhouse guests have the opportunity to hire the Pavilion group kitchen at a cost of $100 per day.
