Guys, please DO NOT bring fruit from home if you are interstaters - there are very strict rules about that in SA as we are officially a fruit fly-free zone.

The lemons were a gift from WA'ers and I squeezed mine into my tea before I left so as not to take it back into NSW.
Just an example of a thoughtful, much appreciated gift.

It sounds so much fun. I am quite green with envy. I spent a fortune in Haighs last year. Their chocolate is lovely.

For the goody bag last year we all took it in turns to go round to everyone and drop our goody into people's sacks. We were all then oohing and aghing. I had such  fun spreading it out over my bed much later,that evening and looking at it all.
For our sacks we simply used a shopping bag or something similar. It was tremendous fun.

Well sadly I didn't make it last year (almost did though ) but I was lucky enough that my fellow retreaters were kind enough to still do up a goodie bag for me and send it home with ES.  She had quite a hike to deliver it then got lost on the way home and had to arrange for someone to pick her kids up from school as she was not going to get there in time but it was so kind of her to do that for me. I remember how exciting it was for me to receive it after the event and I would have loved to have been there whilst everyone was doing the rounds with their goodies. I was left with 30 bags of FruChocs that never made it to the west but I eventually gave them all away to good homes over the following weeks.  Not one passed my lips I am proud to say.

I enjoyed delivering your goody bag and it was my own fault I got lost- I have an appalling sense of direction.
I think it's a great idea to do the goody bags at the dinner. I just need to work out what gift.........

More passed your DH's lips though from what I was told Katie   and yes ES, I had to send some packets home with you for your family after your big trip out here to deliver my goody bag.

I think the goodie bag is a great idea also.  I already have half of mine, just need to sort out the other half once final numbers are known.
