I wonder that no one locked me in my room as every time I got up to the toilet the door creaked and the floorboards.  Bedlam you should have been there as the two Sues brought a bucket load of cocktail fixin's .

Thank goodness for everyone I have my own room.

I have no idea what was happening in your room Cookie! Poor Tenina was so ill though so we all tried to be quiet but that was largely unsuccessful. Especially in the morning seeing cookie in her oversized PJ's . Oh dear I hope you have not GROAN into them cookie.

The first night we were not told we were cooking dinner or we did not get the memo or we were having too much fun to be bothered so it was quite a hoot as we were all sitting around doing nothing when people started arriving with their contribution. The beer assed chooks were not to be and there was much Bedlem!

Of course the next night THAT house was very organised and put our house to shame.

I'm really not sure that the drink package is going to be worth it.
This is the info they sent me -

 "In addition for $15.00 per person we can look at beverage options such as;

1 x Arrival drink per person (house beer, wine, sparkling or soft drink)
1 x bottle of Red
1 x Bottle of White
Tea or Coffee"

I'm pretty sure that doesn't mean a bottle of red & one of white each.

I doubt it either Amanda.  This is something we do have to get sorted.

After dinner drinks in one of the rooms sounds good Uni, we can play it by ear and see who wants to kick on or who wants their bed.  Some of us have to be sober enough to walk you back to your hotel across the square - can't have you wandering about the city at night on your own.

Ok girls when we are out and about on Sat at Hahndorf we can all pick up a little something for our pre drinkie s in JD and CC's room. I say we all BYO our favourite tipple . We can pick that up  I am sure.  I will bring Bubbles of course. If it is cold maybe Sparkling Shiraz. I am sure MF will want to bring a bottle and so on.Uni maybe likes a Red and will choose a bottle to bring. CP I think likes a white and no doubt has a favourite to contribute.  Bedlem may find a great mixer in her bar fridge. No doubt there will be plenty left over so after we can gather all the leftovers out of Judy's room and move on to wherever.

Those of us who do not drink or will have only a wee bit don't bother as I am sure we can all share. There will be water on tap and if JD has not emptied her bar fridge well........

BYO glasses if you like but knowing JD she will have a supply of plastic  cups.

We do not want Judy to fret nor bring a car load of stuff to cart to her room. CC need not even think about  anything.

Agree?

;D ;D  Gert has stopped me from providing all the drinks and nibbles in our room CC - she has taken over  ;)

OK, you win Gertrude, I'll bring 4 bottles of Moscato from my stock, some orange juice and 6 cans diet coke so anyone who wants to partake of any of my drinks is quite welcome to do so and yes I'll pick up a pack of Décor wine glasses and bring a platter & cheese knife and the crackers to go with the cheeses.

I never use the stock from hotel bar fridges Gretchen, far too expensive.  I'd much rather supply my own drinks.

I have also bought you all a bottle of water for the bus trip  :-))  ;D

Oh and I'm adding a bottle of Oyster Bay Savignon Blanc to my list - I know Gert will drink it and it's of no use to me.

There is no stopping you JD. You are incorrigible  and overly generous.  And we all say thank you.

It's funny, that's what Geoff used to say to me when he first met me and it was the first time anyone had ever called me incorrigible.

Oh Judy that is nice.

No Gert haven't GROAN into my super bright and oversize pyjamas. They are going to Birdsville with me. I have a black beanie to wear with them. You will certainly be able to see me. The other lady  has a Fluoro beanie. We'll make a good pair, a terrifying sight.

I am very happy  with Gerts suggestion that we all bring a bottle to Judy's room for pre dinner drinks and can then take what's left to another room after dinner. Judy you are so generous and kind and we all appreciate everything you do but it's only fair that we contribute. I agree with Gert that those who don't drink much are very welcome to have a glass out of our bottles.  We can discuss what wines to bring when we meet on Thursday night as we may all have some wines that we dislike. I detest Chardonnay and can't drink sweet wine but more or less everything else is fine. Favourites Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough area of NZ, nice bubbly and Gert introduced me to Tasmanian and it was superb. We are producing some really world class wines here in Australia and are spoilt for choice.
Soooo excited  ;D
