OzHarvest cookbook arrived yesterday. I've only had a quick look through it but am very impressed with what I have seen so far and there are several recipes I want to try.

I posted my Xmas books on this thread a couple of weeks ago but somehow it got lost and I've been meaning to come back on ever since. My SS sent me Vailli Little's "5 nights a week" - it has loads of really tempting looking recipes, but I haven't had a chance to try any yet. My DH got Yoke's "Wild Sourdough" for me and, following Mich's post I sent off for the two Revive Cafe cookbooks, which also look tempting, so I now have four new recipe books to keep me quiet for the next while.

I'll look forward to hearing what it was like Hally. Last night we had the Pan Fried Chicken with lemon and crisp Prosciutto. It was lovely. I forgot to take a photo
.
This is the Chickpea and Vegetable casserole we had the other night. I reduced the chilli in it and didn't have any Harissa paste. It was lovely. We also loved it cold the next day as a sort of salad.

Got .Jerusalem! By Yotam Ottolenghi's for Xmas and have made a few recipes from it. All pretty good. My fish cakes are better. !!!!
I like it because , although the list of ingredients is fairly long, the recipes are simple. I have made, Baby Spinach salad with dates and Almonds, P 30, Non TMX , but excellent.
Salmon steaks in Chraimeh sauce, P 234 ( excellent ) Converted to TMX and will post. Fish and Caper Kababs P 221. Won't make again.
Tonight, Braised Quail with apricots, currants and Tamarind. I am using Chicken marylands for this.

Ahhhh, another thread I've just discovered
I really need to explore more, don't I!
I was wondering what the reference to "what's for dinner" was....so what's the verdict on this book?
