No resolutions here. I did mine mid-year. Was sick of being overweight and not doing anything for me - so I decided to hire a personal trainer. I go twice a week, have lost 9kgs but more importantly went from a size 18 down to (I think) a 12. I refuse to buy any new clothes as we are going to Hawaii for NYE so will shop up big over there.

Great work Kyton :D

I plan to start cutting back on sugar, it was scary to realise how much of what I eat contains a good amount of sugar without me even giving it a second thought, like low fat yoghurt, tomato sauce and even flavoured rice crackers..... lucky I have TM to make all these things myself so I can control the ingredients  ;D

It is scary the amount of sugar in much of our food. I have recently started sweetening things with date puree or honey.

I love sweetening with honey too, and you don't need very much because it is so sweet! I also use agave nectar sometimes, but that is very expensive.

Another new year goal for me is to find three new ways of making healthy food more interesing and yummy for mum and SD :)

.......the app food switch (scan the  barcodes of packaged foods to get nutritional information, with traffic light-style colour-coded ratings for 4 key food components - total fat, saturated fat, sugar and salt) may help greatly with your NY resolution to cut back sugar.  I will get back to you all with my pipeline NY intentions!!!!!  :D  :D

Astarra, I must admit to being a bit worried when I read about you helping out BIL with his move into the new house.  I hope you are letting the others do all the heavy work and you are only doing light jobs and making cuppas etc.  Do take care of yourself  :-* :-*
