Fortnightly themed dinners
« on: January 16, 2013, 07:14:55 am »
As I have so many cookbooks, yes really, surprise I hear you all say, but for some reason i do :o :o

I thought I might  try & do a fortnightly themed dinner night, eg. mexcan, italian, middle eastern, greek, asian etc. the idea is to try new recipes & have fun.

Anyone want to play?

I know a few people who might be doing an Italian  night with their new pizza machines.

Hally,  i just looked the sofrito up.  This is exactly what I cooked last night,  without knowing. ;D   We had visitors over and they loved it. If you turn to page 195 ,  this is what we are having tomorrow night.

I am booking a flight ;D

This book is wonderful, it arrived yesterday. I lived & worked in Israel on a kibbutz when I was 19, just a few years ago, lol ;D

So many great recipes :)

I've got all his books too. Jerusalem is great.  I need to get to know some of these recipes in a more meaningful way too :)

I'm fine Kerry just feeling lazy and hot weather does make me tired at the best of times.  I haven't become grumpy yet though which is surprising.
