I taught a lass called Siobhan. By the time I had learned to pronounce it she could write it.
My paternal Grandmother's name was Harriett.

It's funny when you know someone by a mentioned name and you think whether you, like them.  I have polish neighbours and I,love hearing Basia call her daughter , Natty Natty,  , Natalia getting louder each time, but I like Natalia,  I like Shiloh , I like lots of names, pick a few then decide when she is born.

My girl name for both pregnancies was Caitlyn. Still love it, but all boys in this house.

I share my office at work with a lady named Siobhan.  She hates it, no-one can pronounce it and no-one can ever spell it correctly either.  She wished her parents gave her a plain name like Jane.

I think Olivia is a nice name.

Only boys in this house but for number 2 we had chosen Eden or Niamh (another Irish one - pronounced Neev) - we have a long Irish surname.

As for other girls names I like  - Estelle, Lucia, Zoe, and Ava

Normal names
normal spellings

or the kid will end up hating you, because they have to say it, over and over again ???
Continue to spell the name forever. >:(

to the people who cant hear, listen, spell properly.

My sister does school photos, and kids hate names not spelled properly...
so I chose easy names, that were easy to spell. :-* :-*
