You don't have to ILB - just go to the MC website & watch it online with catch up TV.  I have been very busy last couple of days so am just checking "our" forum here before toddling over there to watch friday nights episode.  I put the headphones in & pretend I am working!!! ;D

Go Julie - think she is most committed.  Really can;t believe the dishes that they have tried making in the last week or so.

Well, she won, ...... hopefully Thermomix will be the biggest winner.

So glad Julie won, but also sad that Poh didn't.  They both did so very well tonight.  I don't cry at sad movies or anything like that (hard hearted cow that I am) but I sooked my eyes out at the end of tonights show :)

I am a total sop - I cry at the opening music to movies I think might be sad!! My son even rang me tonight to say he was glad "my mate" won & I answered the phone saying "of course I'm in tears!!!"

Sorry Ann, I was half watching and half catching up with emails etc and didn't think that anybody in WA would be on their computers.

I found out in the afternoon, so it was not really a surprise.

I'm also glad Julie won. DD got on the computer to see sho won before we watched it, I think I enjoyed it not stressing out over who won.  I'm pretty hard hearted at movies too, but even I got teary when the families came in . I noticed that Gary got teary too, saying to Julie-"look what you've done to me!" :'( :'(

:D :D :D Yay! Julie and Poh are through.  (tears of Joy)
I'd still be interested to read Chris's " Nose to tail - Stout to Ale"  Great name for a cookbook and I love cooking with beer and wine.  I love Julie's honesty with her emotions and her cooking.  Imagine if on the appliance shelf in the MasterChef kitchen they had the TM31.  Maybe they wouldn't be so rushed with things having to hand stir and watch everything???

Go Po!  I wish they both could win :(

That's interesting - I didn't realise that they didn't.  They've had the TM in the UK Masterchef for a while now.  I think that quite a few of the contestants had asked to have access to one, and that's how it came in ... not completely sure, though.  It's one of the things which helps its exposure here, apparently (have to be honest that I hardly ever watch telly).  It isn't referred to, really, but it is regularly used in the background, so that people gradually become aware of it, and what it's doing.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Maybe if we all suggest to CH10 that they could have it on the shelf for the Celebrity Masterchef, kids Masterchef and next years Masterchef??    It'd be really cool if TM31 became as recognisable the kenwood or the Kitchenaid.

its a amazing the excitement that having the tmx on MC has created.  I've just heard about a guest at an up-coming demo is hanging out to see it after seeing it appear on MC. Apparently she is quiet excited now.  That's just one story - so there must be heaps of others out there.
