Gert's snake in a drainpipe

I heard crying in my bar sink. I saw what I thought was a frog down the drain. I removed the drain pipe and out popped the snake which probably was eating the frog which was the crying I heard. The snake retreated back into the drain and is still there.

Well that is it really. Poor frog. The snake is still sitting there unable to move  probably until the frog is digested but I put the drain back together as I do not want the snake slithering around the house all night .  If I hear the snake trying to get out I will open the drain again and hopefully it will come out so I can grab it.  When  I tried to grab it before it just retreated up the drain.

The question is can the poor thing travel backwards.

Not really as I think it is just a green tree snake but it does look a bit thicker than I usually see.

Not venamous and very pretty but can bite if really annoyed .

You are one brave Gert. I would be at Lizard Island by now. Poor frog, but horrible snake.

LOL! not brave at all. They don't bite and are very pretty. It may have been annoyed  though.

Believe me a snake is not as scary as assisting an incompetent surgeon with a scalpel  in his hand  and an unconscious  patient on the table. Trust me.

I don't know why people are afraid of  harmless snakes.  Just another critter. My DiL sent me a VDO of my 6 year old GD feeding  an elephant who was just passing by their door on it's way to a job. It seemed huge next to her  but politely stopped seeing she had something in her hand. It dropped the banana so my GD bent over, retrieved it and the elephant virtually said thank you and was on it's way.  Imagine seeing elephants outside your  front door. Of course they live in Mayapur. I wondering if there  are cobras?

Be careful Gretchen, that snake is going to be very annoyed if it can't get out by itself so it may be angry at you if you try and help it.  Get DH to do the dirty work, you stand clear  ;D
