My favourite dessert to make is a soufflé (either raspberry or passionfruit).  I love that feeling when you open the oven and it's actually worked!
It's one of my DH's favourite desserts to eat, so that is a bonus

My favourite dessert is chocolate caramel hazelnut tart. Chocolate and caramel melt in your melt with crunch from the hazelnuts and base. It is delish and the reason I haven't made it in thermie is because I have no self control and would end up eating the lot. If I won the book though, my friends and family (along with me) would personally thank you!

My favourite is the Golden Syrup cake which when made in a small cupcake pan transforms into a delectable Golden Syrup pudding - served warm with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream. One recipe...mixed in the TMX for one minute...two different results. Both absolutely delicious.

My favourite dessert is custard.
Lemon custard, egg custard, chocolate custard, all custard. I especially like the fact that because it has eggs in it, it can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Ooh this is difficult as I'm a real sweet tooth. I love anything with custard, and since I've had thermie, real egg custard is a doddle. Not to mention how delicious it is with some dark Haighs chocolate stirred through.....
Mmmmm I was thinking of funnyfarm2's vanilla slice with no cream, but there was the time that I forgot to add the butter and the custard was like rubber. Fortunately, I was able to save it by grating the butter in at the end, but for a while there, I thought that I was going to end up in my own funny farm.
I'm pretty fond of Cp's cream puffs filled with custard, but my absolute favourite would have to be Chookie's Portuguese Custard tarts. The pastry is crisp and the custard is to die for. Every time I take them somewhere they disappear quick smart.

My favourite (among many others, mind you!! ) would be the Lemon Pudding Surprise Cake - or perhaps better known as the Lemon Delicious!!  In the past I've felt very smug about the fact that the egg whites performed beautifully - all white and fluffy and gorgeous - until last time!  I'll swear the bowl was spotlessly clean and grease free. . . a big however!!  . T'was finally rescued by "other means"

So was I - I was torn between rice pudding, trifle or summer berry pudding and summer berry pudding won (I think!).

This tart (made with lemon and without the glaze) is a favourite with family and friends alike, and is often requested for get togethers.

I first made it for a Christmas party, and of course, being dessert, it was not eaten sober, so to speak. I was caught in a running argument with the host, who does not usually eat sweet things but loved this, who kept insisting on calling it a cheesecake. I kept correcting him that it was in fact a tart. You can probably see where this was going. The rest of the evening was punctuated by him mumbling "cheesecake!" To which I would exclaim "Tart!" Yes, things degenerated further and it is now referred to as "That whore cake" 

Particularly entertaining for said host when I arrive carrying this dessert, accompanied by DH, and he can shout out "Great! I see you've brought the tasty whore!" Then he disappears, leaving us to try to explain to any guests who are not in on the joke!!
